This is the first leak of Galaxy S8 you should look at
Samsung is preparing one of its most important launches in quite some time as they are getting close to ready to launch this years Galaxy S flagship smartphone. Because of the catastrophic failure of Galaxy Note7 last year this launch carries a special significance.

The phone has been leaked in dozen or more photos and lists of features but now we have the first one that we should definitely take seriously. Evan Blass (@evleaks) of VentureBeat has revealed pictures and details of the upcoming phone.

Blass, known for his accuracy amongst the leakers and journalists alike, shows off pictures of the metallic silver device from back and front. The front picture reveals that there seems to be no home button, as suspected, and the back on the other hand shows the new position of the fingerprint reader next to the camera.

He continues to unveil the specs that bring a huge boost in screen real estate. The phone comes with two versions, S8 and S8 Plus?, like last year and they feature 5.8 and 6.2 inch displays respectively. Because the displays cover almost the whole phone their aspect ratio is also rather unusual 18.5:9 instead of the traditional 16:9.

Samsung has also taken one feature from Apple's playbook as it bring the pressure sensing to its displays. Battery capacity stays pretty much at par with previous year at 3000 and 3500 mAh.

According to the report nothing spectacular is going to be done to camera, SoC or memory. Snapdragon 835, 12 megapixel camera, 4 GB of RAM and 64GB microSD expandable storage are everything we expected.

Samsung is expected to reveal its Galaxy S8 models on March 29 instead of April release that was rumored.

WEAKEST specs for a BRAND NEW Samsung Galaxy phone that's trying to make amends for the crap they've pumped out in recent years.......particularly the exploding Note 7.

    Short life TVs

    Exploding washing machines

    Exploding cell phones

    Low reliability appliances

NEVER buy Samsung if you want to have it last.

Interesting. I must be one of the lucky ones. I owned a Galaxy S4, S5,S7, S7 edge, 55" TV and Blu-ray player with zero problems. Far as Korean manufacturers go, I've had tons of problems with LG products. I will never again buy an LG anything.

Funny...my Samsung TV works fine. My wife's S6 works fine. My S5 AND S7 both function like new, and my old S2 soldiered on until it succumbed to lake water due to an overturned canoe. Quit with your hate. Don't like it? Don't buy it.

FYI, they also are one of the THREE manufacturers of the "crystal" of an LCD display.

Doesn't change the fact that their QC and reliability are for shit.

    So you want a medal?????

OF COURSE "most" of their stuff works.........if that were NOT the case then they would close doors and shut down so your comment is misplaced. Clearly I'm referring to the large qty of issues their product line has had so if you're truly unaware of all their problems then I'm wasting my time on you so STFU!

Now.......how long have you had your TV? Highly likely you have had SOMETHING go wrong with it.

As I've stated you putz, their QC is down the drain. And as I mentioned as well, exploding washers, Note 7, Fridges that have numerous issues.

    You're banned from discussions!

FYI, it's a Samsung DLP 56''...so yeah, it's pretty old and has been relegated to video game duty in my den. That being said, the only thing I've had to do is replace the lamp twice. Not bad for a 10 year old 1st gen 1080P unit.
Kindly take your keyboard warrior mentality somewhere else. No one is impressed with your pompous arrogance and general disdain for anyone that doesn't agree with you. Get back under your bridge.
