IBM started to ship their brand new solution for PDAs, HDD with 340MB storage capacity in ONE inch small chip, called as MicroDrive!
This beauty fits into any CompactFlash card slot, which means most of the WinCe machines and digital cameras.
My dream solution would be to get Cassiopeia E-105 with IBM MicroDrive 340MB HDD as my mp3 player.

I know...I had a 256 Mb HDD then, and I used to think mp3 stood for Media Player 3!
its just I couldn't resist! no offense intended.
lolz, back then I didn't even know there are full version games! all I knew was the shareware!
this is really cool though. didn't knew about these archives..

Hehe...there was a time when a 20MB 5.25" hard drive was an amazing new device that cost over $2,000.
If you browse around for some of the older hacker faqs, you find a lot of guides for credit card fraud...and they usually have a line like, "AMEX is the best because there is no limit, you could afford a 40MB hard drive!"12.5.2010 03:19 #4

haha...My dad had brought a 20 mb hdd in 1992 somethin for like $1250.
