The members of the Club CD Freaks forum have made a nice breakthrough in LiteOn overclocking. The succesfully upgraded 24x and 32x model to fully support 40x model features, including Mt.Rainier format. Also the forum moderators confim the the tweak actually works.
An user of our forum called Maik has posted a firmware on his site that allows you to flash your Lite-On 24103S/32123S to a 40125S. Several people (also two of our moderators/experts) have already confirmed that it works.
