EMediaLive: P2P unlocks the musical doors that have been shut down

The respected EMediaLive has posted a nice editorial about P2P music sharing and music industry in general. The editor emotionally writes about freedom of music, John Lennon and The Clash.

But the fact that P2P technology exists—independent of whatever compromised pay-per-play service Roxio develops with the detritus of Napster—enabling the potentially unfettered exchange of potentially untainted music, means it might someday unlock doors the Clash kicked open that have since been summarily slammed shut.

Good reading.
