TurboLinux, a
Linux distribution which is very popular in Asia, has announced that their latest version of the operating system distribution,
TurboLinux 10F, will support streaming of
Microsoft's
Windows Media audio and video formats. Company will pay license fees for the technology to Microsoft.
TurboLinux is media-centric in other aspects as well, it includes
CyberLink's
PowerDVD for Linux and also supports
Apple's
iPod players natively.
Product will be available in Japan on May 28th and will cost $149.
