New Eminem album surfaces online

Rapper Eminem's new album, Encore, which is set to be released on November 16th has appeared online today, 13 days early. The album is currently being traded and distributed in many ways online, including XDCC bots on IRC, on P2P networks and many BitTorrent sites. This is the third major item from the entertainment industry to appear online in about a month, after two major games, Halo 2 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas both leaked before their official release date. It seems that Internet release groups are becoming more and more of a nuisance to the entertainment industry, demonstrating their skills in beating several copy protections and acquiring works long before they are due to be released.

It's not a major thing to see albums appear online in MP3 format, but this one in particular is interesting after rumors were circulating online that there were "plans" for this album that would prevent mass piracy of it. The group responsible for the release has left some comments packed with it...

As well as the main CD, the group has also released a bonus CD containing three more tracks. It will be interesting to see some later comments on this release from Recording Industry. Some have made claims that the major success of the third Eminem album, The Eminem Show was due to many of the tracks appearing on P2P networks. Downloaders who got these early tracks claim it made them go out and buy the album when it was released.

  I like a lot of eminem songs but i dont by any means think he's anywhere near the best artist in the world because, quite simply, he's saying the same shit over and over again. Even on encore which ive listened to, there's too much stuff we've heard already, even herbsman here, who usually likes eminem stuff said he was very disappointed with encore.

I liked the Eminem of 5 years ago when he used to offend at least 1 person in every song he did and dis groups like N*Sync and Backstret Boys. That Eminem has unfortunately died. I just don't understand what you're saying. I own Loyal To The Game and I think Em did a great job with this album. He is featured in 2 of the songs and he had a hand in some others. On a different note, I think Eminem's The Eminem Show and Encore are his best albums. I liked his first 2, but these deffinately top my charts (and the bilboard charts also if you didn't notice). Everything in rap doesn't always need to be about drugs, sex, and killing people, and Eminem does a great job entertaining listeners in a different and better way!
  p.s. WHATS WITH HOMER SIMPSON? HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY OF THIS!!

  shadyrule do you listen to any other rappers. Im not saying I hate Eminem but I think he has changed since 8 Mile. Regarding Pac's beats he had no reason whatsoever to touch them. All he wanted to do is make a quick buck because he new it would sell. Im not sayin I hate Pac infact Pac's my fav rapper of all time. But Loyal to the Game was made for the money not for the music. The album he made for pac wasnt that good except the cut with obie trice the rest was booty.   I totally agree... So, All you Haters out there gotta learn what real music is. Eminem rules! His beats and rhymes kill in the rap industry and on the charts. Im not sayin he's the only rapper I listen to..... I also listen to 50 cent, The Game, D12, Ludacris, Nappy Roots, a little Chingy and a little Nelly. I listen to others also, I just don't listen to very many of their songs. I'm sayin, Eminem puts everything on the line and thows what he's got down and it always sounds awesome!
