VSO DivxToDVD 2 Guide

VSO DivxToDVD 2 Guide
DivxToDVD 2 is VSO Software's latest offering. It has the ability to convert multiple file types, including AVI files (DivX or XviD supported), QuickTime files (MOV) , Windows Media Video files (WMV) etc.. to DVD. It produces a VIDEO_TS folder containing your DVD files (.VOB, .BUP and .IFO) and now in this latest version, can burn it directly to DVD. It can convert NTSC to PAL and vice versa, 4:3 or 16:9 output and also has more birate options than previous versions of the software. It has support for manual or automatic Chapters, subtitle streams and multiple audio streams also.

So a few days go we added a guide to our guide section for DivxToDVD 2, pretty much covering the software completely. In the unregistered version of DivxToDVD 2, there is a watermark. The addition of the watermark to the video slows down the conversion. Registered versions of the software do not add this watermark, so it encodes at almost twice the speed. Either way, the software is definitely worth checking out.

    This is great to see!

Definately been waiting for a newer version of this to come out. Worth the money believe me...but hey, everyone's opinion is different.

The quality is excellent and the output files and options are a GOD send for anyone looking for a 1-click app. to use to convert possibly any dvd or d/l'ed file type.

    ;)

ummm.....is there really a need for a guide for this program? I mean all you have to do is look at the options and it's not hard to figure out. Input file, output folder. Do you want to force an aspect ratio or framerate? What else is there?

    hi

just to note i have 2 mpegs that DivXtoDVD (the free and the pay for app) it cannot cope with, it always outputs a small square picture center of screen albeit with NTSC and PAL the square goes to a rectangle, also to note mainconcept and TMPGEnc plus make these 2 mpegs perfectly to mpeg2 dvd compliant!

so be careful with this encoder !!!
