I agree, kid themed games can be fun. GTA and other mature games are unnecessary and partly to blame for the increased violence in America. It would be nice to see America clean up it's act and take a stand for the betterment of our nation for once.

Jet Black will do just fine

I am sorry but if "media" lead to violence then the US would have self imploded during Broadway and the movie heyday not to mention over all crime rates have dropped since 94(so say the feds) a year after DOOM was released.

Video games have become the new scapegoat and the whipping boy of politicians and famous hacks looking for a boost in viewership and votes...

Books, music, movies, comic have all been the whiping boy at one time or another so "media" violence is as old as polis pandering for votes or even the written word.

I knew that this would turn into "that kind" of thread as soon as mrtoast2 posted his comment.

Lets be clear, stupid people commit stupid crimes. I agree that mature content should only be enjoyed by mature people, but just because you are above the legal age does not mean you are mature.

We did not have any world wars before violent video games and crime did not exist before gta.

I agree "younger" theme games are fun Hell look at Zelda series as an example. Also Mrtoast2 I have to disagree with you. For example are you going to blame what happened at Virginia Tech yesterday on videogames or even gun control. The Guy was nut and would have harmed people regardless.

i enjoyed a lot of kid games i grew up playing spyro the dragon and i found that games like the ant bully game play similer to spyro and i enjoyed playing the ant bully game so if there concentration is on wii wi fi and ds wi fi then we should see some great online apps coming and even better racing and mmorpgs you never know??

There are definitely too many violent games out there.

It only stands to logic and reason that growing up in a society where violent games are somewhat the normal...that our kids, their minds, and rational will be affected.

Its a simple concept. You can deny it all u want. But most of u know it to be true. We don't need this amount of violence.

If want to learn to be rich...hang around rich people. U want to be generous...hang around generous people. You want to be an asshole...Hang around assholes.

U learn from your environment. That is logical. Certainly parents do need to take better action...but it goes far beyond that. Internet cafe's let any kid play almost any game. Its all about money. Greed.

    Gaming can be an addition.
You really believe that the amount of gun violence in USA is not attributed to the amount of Guns around....come on.

Think about it. If u grow up looking at violence...there's a good chance u will be more violent than if u hadn't of been exposed to it in the first place. Common sense. I do understand that some of you may be lacking this common sense feature....simply because you've never been exposed to it !!!

theres a huge gaping hole in your argument crime rate is down.

claiming media violence makes violence ok is saying having guns make people kill others or computers is the cause of pricray its stupid, the blame lies on crazy people be crazy, nothing ,more nothing less.

I just say what i normally do is. "Watch this space" It is to early for us to make any comment for this being good or bad. We would just have to observe the progress of the new team.
