Naples church official arrested in piracy crackdown

A piracy crackdown carried out in Rome included the arrest of a sacristan working at the Naples' main cathedral (Duomo di Napoli). His son was also arrested as part of an investigation carried out by the Fiscal Police (GdF) from Rome, who were acting with arrest warrants issued by the anti-mafia Public Prosecutor of Naples.

The case led to the arrest of 11 members of a criminal organization, headed by a man the police refer to as "!F.V." from Naples, as well as the seizure of 143 burners, 14,000 pirate CDs and DVDs, 222,000 jewel boxes and 40,000 inlay cards. The sacristan and his son were identified as the major suppliers to the organization of downloaded music and movie pre-releases from internet. The alleged members of the criminal gang are facing a 400-count indictment.

  and think do you think this solves the problem
  
  answer no they will re affend again and again because in a country where one dvd costs you 50.00 u.s you would rather spend 6.00 dollers for the copy and if countrys donot start making things cheaper for there citizens you will see a rise in bittorent and p2p downloads and use of ghost ip addresses and more worthless lawsuits

  This is crazy sounds like something out of the movie studios would make. So if members of the church were involved would they have to go and report their sins :P sorry no offense to anyone in regards to the comment i just though it would be funny, came up with it while reading the article.
