Joost to allow unlimited Beta invites
After weeks of having a private beta period for its service, Joost has announced today that they will be moving into public beta and that they will allow their current beta testers to invite an unlimited amount of friends and family to try out the service.

If you are a current tester, than all you have to do is click on the "My Joost" area and select the "Invite Friends" widget.



Joost recently announced they had added 31 advertisers, and they two announcements should help to bring many new users to the service.

"Today marks the beginning of an exciting phase for Joost - we are officially open for business," global advertising chief David Clark said in a statement.

Joost will feature more than 150 channels from all genres which would also vary by region due to the deals with content providers. Joost also announced it hoped to add more content for users outside of the US soon.

If anyone has a beta invite, you know where to send it ;-)

    They gave me a bunch more but I don.t have time for too many right now. Those that asked and gave their email address I have sent a few oily, jeffrey, and dsgtrain. You know who you are and should be recieving your invites. I will try to get 5 or 6 more but your name and email is suppose to be their but for those I sent already I made up sometning to go with your email address. Remember they have to be pm .     I am sure many here would agree there is no need to post a request here, to post your email address, or to say you have sent the invite. Simply do this, send a private message to the user w/ invites. Politely ask them for an invite. And if and when they send 1 to you thank them.

    Yes and went there and they even gave me what you all are asking for 'An invite'. Interesting but it's really in the starting stages. When they get ABC, CBS and NBC along with 10 or 15 cable channels then the big idiots (CEOs) of broadcasting will either take over or crush it.     Please do not request from multiple people. It makes it harder for us, I am currently going through my private message inbox and have stumbled across multiple requests from email addresses that are already registered. It wastes our/my time, we do this as a favor so please make the process hassle free. There is no need to send private messages requesting Joost invites to everyone, because we all have unlimited invites. Ask once and you shall recieve.

    I've been getting many invites sent to my ShoutBox. I have sent invites to the people who did post messages in my shoutbox. But starting now I will only reply to requests sent to my Private Message box. Dont know how to send a private message? No problem heres a picture....
