SunBriteTV releases 46" all-weather outdoor LCD

SunBriteTV has released a 46 inch all-weather resistant LCD that is an upgrade to their current smaller LCDs with the same features.

The SunBrite 4600HD will debut at InfoComm next week. It has a "corrosion resistant enclosure that protects the internals from the elements." It also has a built-in filtered fan system for very hot days and a heater that lets the TV work in temperatures of 24 degrees Farenheit.



The TV also includes many inputs such as HDMI, component, S-video, composite, and RF and has a nice 1366x768 resolution at a 1600:1 contrast ratio.

The TV will be expensive however, $5000 MSRP, and there are no accessories as of yet that would protect your HD sources, but hopefully some are coming.

  Maybe this is not a consumer product. I could easily see this kind of tv used in outdoor advertising.

  I would be interested in a tv like this if I could afford it. I think the price is not that high comparatively. 46 inch LCD's are going for around 1000-3000 depending on brand/model. So maybe something around 4200-4600 would be a better price point, but it is brand new technology.
  
  Imagine having a this tv on your back porch right next to a hot tub. Ahh its a wonderful thing to dream about.

  What about the cables connected to it? What about the components at the other ends of those cables? What about the remotes for all these components? What about power to everything?
