Roxio offers Easy Media Creator 10

Roxio offers Easy Media Creator 10
Sonic Solutions' Roxio division has launched Easy Media Creator 10, an upgrade to the company's suite of digital media applications that enables consumers to turn their photos, video and music into impressive multi-media projects that can be shared on CD, DVD, the Web, or a range of mobile devices. Easy Media Creator 10 is fully Windows Vista certified and boasts a new Aero interface.

The company claims the interface makes it easier than ever for consumers to manage their digital content from one project to the next, whether it is burning a DVD or uploading videos to YouTube. "We are pleased to have a working relationship with Roxio, a global provider of digital media software," said Dave Wascha, director of marketing for Windows Vista at Microsoft Corp.

He added: "Microsoft recognizes Sonic's commitment to delivering quality solutions that enhance our users’ experience with Windows Vista." Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 will be available in retail stores worldwide this month and is available today directly from Roxio at www.roxio.com for $99.99 USD.

"Easy Media Creator has always provided digital media enthusiasts with the tools, features, and controls which users of any experience level need to easily create, manage, and enjoy photos, music, and videos," said Mark Ely, executive vice president of strategy, Sonic Solutions. "Understanding that the audience for digital media activities and devices is expanding, Roxio is going a step further with the launch of Creator 10 to provide not only the state-of-the-art digital media software tools designed for the broadest range of users, but also the training and creative inspiration consumers need to get the most out of their digital lives."

I have been using Roxio for years, even when it was Adaptec. And I have always liked it better than that clunker piece of junk Nero.
    Nero Sucks!!!!!

I must admit that I did not like Roxio in the past. I am now using 2 computers My windows XP Pro has Nero & my Vista 64 bit Has Rixio. When Vista first came out it would not work with Nero and Nero did a update and noting would work for a while I did many re-formats until I went to filehippo.com and got a older release then I could make DVDs on my Xp machine but not on my Vista. I tried Rixio 9 on my Vista machine and it worked. I will render a DVD in a hour vice the 3.5 with Nero. Roxio you can also do green/blue screen that is a cool feature and chapter editing takes 15 seconds compared to 20 mins. now my Vista is a 64bit running on a 2x3.2Ghz processor with 2 Gigs of ram verse a Nero 32bit 2.8 with 2 gigs of memory. What is the better one? only you can decide that one

I'm using XP Pro and I can't keep Roxio 10 running long enough to make coasters! I wish I had kept count on how many times I have uninstalled and reloaded this crap. Can't load skin, can't start burn engine, can't.... The list of what it can do is much shorter.

If you're looking for software, keep looking!
