Jeboo sued for copyright infringement
Jeboo, China's largest online cinema, has had a series of lawsuits filed against it by five Hollywood giants, namely Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, The Walt Disney Company, Paramount Pictures Corporation, Columbia Pictures Corporation, and Universal.

The studios claim that the company "transmitted movies they produced without their permission" and demanded an injunction to stop the transmissions immediately. The studios are also asking for an official apology and 3.2 million yuan ($433,000 USD).

Jeboo, established 3 years ago, has network copyrights for almost 30,000 films and television programs and is the first provider of its kind in China.

More updates as they become available.

Hm, that's a good one. Where will those mod people go next? You do actually need some facilities to produce.

I'm guessing they will stay in China, but move their operations around more. Maybe change the company name more often. Shell game kind of thing.

The irony of the situation is that I love my knockoff ink cartridges. Can't imagine paying US OEM prices for them.
