Buy an Aquos, get Vudu free
The new video on demand service Vudu has announced that they will be giving away their set-top boxes for free with the purchase of select Sharp AQUOS LCD TVs.

The deal is part of a new special partnership between the service and Sharp, an electronics manufacturer.

Starting this week, and ending January 5th, 2008, any buyer who purchases a 42" or larger Sharp Aquos 1080p LCD TV will get the Vudu box for free as well as $50 in free download credits. Vudu values the package at $450 USD.

Currently, there are 7 Aquos models available larger than 42 inches with price ranges of $1,799 to $7,999 USD.

you should definitely try and see if you can.
If not just return the TV if you can ;), then re-purchase it.

Darn, I was wondering the same thing. I got the 52 inch Aquos from HSN about 3 weeks ago. Guess I bought it too early. I love it though. PS3 and 360 games look awesome. I actually havent even watched a blu-ray movie yet on it.

that ought to teach you to ask a little more closely about just how much of a bargain a bargain really is, wouldn't you say?

Just think, with that attitude (i have it too), if we were cloned and worked for a company we would quite likely be a corporation - you know those big nasty things.

Funny how they as an entity behave like we can do as individuals.

I think you got a better deal $1100 off than paying retail and getting something worth $450 free
