Disney now a partner in Hulu
Disney has announced that it has now obtained an equal equity stake in the popular online video site Hulu, giving it equal influence with founders NBCU and Fox.

Some of the popular content that will be available immediately are current and hit TV shows from Disney and ABC such as Lost, Dancing with the Stars and Hannah Montana. There will also be "popular library titles" from Walt Disney Studios.

Hulu has rapidly become the third place video site online, behind YouTube and Fox Interactive, seeing 380 million clips viewed last month.

Disney's deal is the first time the company has moved its TV lineup from its own ABC.com streaming site.

Until Hulu improves the fluidity of it's streaming content(and make them play perfectly as the ads seem to for some reason)I don't care how mahy studios jump on board. As of right now, this site is unwathcable to me. Don't know or care what the cause is for the video be so jumpy and pause every few seconds even while audio plays on(is about like watching a video on 56k or sometimes like that old curious George cartoon back in the day) but I'll stick with Netflix, youtube and Amazon for my legaly streamted video content. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much.Cant say I've ever had a problem with the playback. Only one time an episode of "The Office" had inverted colors (blacks were white etc, it was weird haha) but I have been very satisfied with the service.

They just need more content and it seems that is what they are working on. I am not excited to see Disney having such a large share though. we will see.

i like hulu as well and while i havent experienced any problems with buffers as some in the posts do, they could step up in the HD dept a little, and while 480p is ok, i would love for them to step up and do 720p cause thats been pretty much the standard for most HD shows today, IMO. - BLUEBOY

Thank you very much.I haven't had that problem much and when I have, it's because I was sacrificing having to wait for the buffer to fill on high quality on a mediocre internet connection. I've had the opposite happen where I've had to sit through waiting for a commercial though. That can be a little annoying. Sounds like you're one of the unlucky few. Sorry, hulu is pretty sweet for everyone else, haha.
