PS3 sales taper off in Japan after Slim boost
The PlayStation 3 continued to sell well in Japan for the week ended September 28th, however sales tapered off following the large boost from the slim PS3's release.

Sales dropped 22 percent week-on-week, to 39,960 from 51,055.



The DSi/DS Lite continued to sell well, combining for almost 79,000 units sold.

The PSP and Wii continued to see slow sales, while the PS2 and Xbox 360 stayed about flat.

    just 2 months before the holidays i believe is normal sales to go down, not just the PS3 but all of them, plus that people are waiting for bundles.

    the spirit of getting is three months away and every one knows what that means thats right bundles...and we all like bundles, now don't we.

    Not to go too far off topic, but I'm interested in seeing how the PSPGo is faring. I would assume not that well, at least in comparison to other systems... especially the DS(i).
