Verizon launches Epix HD movie channel
Verizon has announced the launch of the Epix HD movie channel this weekend, allow subscribers to watch movies on-demand via their TV or online.

You can check the site at epixhd.com, and the service will cost $10 USD per month.

"We're taking the lead in delivering the richest and best entertainment to movie-lovers, on whatever platform they choose,"
adds Verizon vice president of content strategy and acquisition Terry Denson.



Epix is a joint venture from Paramount, Lionsgate, MGM and Viacom and will include thousands of films from the studios.

    Sounds like a netflix box without the big selection...but maybe the quality will be better (couldn't be much worse).

Not Worth an extra $10.00 a month on the cable bill. Epix doesn't even listen to what the people want to see. We pay Verizon out the A*S now for cable for a bunch of nothing channels now and relentless repeats each month. I remember when TV was free to watch now it's a monopoly of cable companies trying to see who how much they can screw out of the most money per month.
