Firefox 3.6 coming today

Firefox 3.6 coming today
Mozilla Corp. is set to release Firefox 3.6 later today, coming just a couple of days after Firefox 3.6 Release Candidate 2 was made available for download. The newer version makes dozens of fixes over the previous Firefox 3.5 versions. The updated browser will have better add-on support, with a new page to check all user plug-ins, alert when an update is available and then link to download it. This should help users to maintain security and performance of the browser.

According to a Mozilla video, which showcases some of the changes in Firefox 3.6 (below), the new browser version is now 20 percent faster than Firefox 3.5, which itself had dramatically increased speed over older versions of the software. HTML 5 is also more integrated in Firefox 3.6. Also added is support for Firefox Personas, a user-friendly way to change the entire theme of the Firefox browser.

Check out the Mozilla video on Firefox 3.6.

I wish the Norton IS issues would be taken care of when they release the new Firefox versions. Is there any patch in sight?

Personally I always hated norton and its tactics. If they are still giving people trouble then go elsewhere. There are far better products than norton from walmart.

I found that Coral IE TAB Version 1.63 is compatible and does the same thing.

Not quite the same thing, though. I noticed a bug with Coral IE Tab when trying to post a MySpace comment. When I typed, nothing showed up in the text area and the editing buttons did not appear at all.

Another casualty is TV.COM When doing a search for something, Firefox would never display the results. It required the IE Tab to display. Coral IE Tab does the same thing Firefox does by not displaying the results from a search.

Mine's almost that bad...except only 1280x1024 (no, I haven't gone widescreen yet for my PC). The desktop's clear in Hackintosh mode, though...mainly the 10 or so drive partition icons.
