Apple sued again over iPhone technology

Apple sued again over iPhone technology
Intellect Wireless, a small company based in Virginia has sued Apple this month over wireless communication technology found in the iPhone, in what has got to be the millionth time Apple has been sued over technology relating to their smartphone.

The patent in question is for a concept meant to "receive and display caller ID information, non-facsimile pictures, video messages and/or Multimedia Messaging Services [MMS]."

Intellect is asking for $10 million in damages from Apple, but will accept a settlement.

The company has so far sued T-Mobile, Virgin, Helio, US Cellular, Motorola, LG, Sanyo, Samsung and HTC over similar patent disputes.

Yet more pricks trying to make an a quick buck by suing a big money magnet with the attitude "they can afford it.... and we need a new car", lol
But seriously, its just like all them people, who a few years ago, encouraged their kids to go to Michael Jacksons house and then gettin money out of him for an easy ride for out of court settlements on kiddie fiddling claims.

Work for money, its more rewarding!!!

ps. iPhones rock, best gadget in the last decade easy!!!

You should Google for "Casio" + "Hong Kong" + "GSM" and you should find Casio gsm mobile phone offered by "Hutchison Max" exclusively in Hong Kong some 15 years ago.

It did practically everything that iPhone does now. The technology has advanced along with the communication speeds which just might be the only difference you will find. One can always try and extrapolate for performance!

In fact I believe even Siemens had something similar.

    So Apple what's new ????
