Apple sells 1 millionth iPad
Apple has announced today that on Friday the company sold its 1 millionth iPad tablet, just one month after its release.

The iPad, in its Wi-Fi-only version, was released on April 3rd, and quickly sold over 300,000 units.

Additionally, iPad owners have downloaded 12 million apps from the App Store, and over 1.5 million e-books from the newly launched iBookStore.

"One million iPads in 28 days—that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone," says CEO Steve Jobs. "Demand continues to exceed supply and we’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more customers."

Developers have created 5000 apps specifically for the iPad, with some of the most popular being legal streaming movie and TV show services such as Netflix.

The Wi-Fi only version is available now starting at $499 for the smallest capacity version.

The sheeple are deceived into buying products for reasons that would make not sense to an informed consumer. Reason such as b/c it's trendy, all the cool people have one, there are no visible screws...etc.

Now this is just for electronics. Imagine all the other thinks the sheeple and regular people have been tricked into consenting. Consenting to things that the media says, government says, etc, and this is way more important to realize then what Apple is doing.

This has lead to millions of people dying, suffering, and getting injured.

    I had a revelation today...

I realized that the lack of Flash will lead to someone installing linux on the iPad. The normal userbase will just jump ship and sell their overpriced tablet for less than the cost of a Kindle. This means that in a year or so, I might be able to get an iPad for like $100 and install linux on it. I guess Mr Jobs does have a plan to make it open and affordable!

Yea I dont get it... I would rather have my PSP and DS for gaming and my phone for phone calls. Sure there are sweet apps but I dont see myself farming zombies all day or playing tower defense.
