Apple launches iOS 4.2

Apple launches iOS 4.2
Apple has announced today that iOS 4.2 is now available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, adding a number of new features.

Perhaps more notably is the fact that iPad users will finally get multitasking.

"iOS 4.2 makes the iPad a completely new product, just in time for the holiday season," added CEO Steve Jobs. "Once again, the iPad with iOS 4.2 will define the target that other tablets will aspire to, but very few, if any, will ever be able to hit."

All iOS device owners will now have multitasking, Folders, Unified Inbox, Game Center, AirPlay and AirPrint.

AirPlay allows for wireless streaming of music, videos and photos from any iOS device to the Apple TV.

AirPrint lets you wirelessly print photos, email, web pages, and documents from your iPad to any AirPrint-enabled printer.

LoL...every other tablet already had multitasking, apple finally adds it and starts talking about how they are innovators for inventing it!

Oh, yeah, so other OS-based tablets will follow the iPad in adding cool "innovations" such as multitasking and folders... In the late 2010! And yet, legions of zombies will still love this guy, his company and every single piece of crap coming from them. Not me. NOT EVER. edited by ddp Apple!

Nice point. But, even if I was one of them, every single personality I had would still hate Apple this much. X-D

What is the average of the people on this site?
No insult but my guess would be 12-15 years old.

Not taken. It's a known fact that, after that age, many people loose their sense of humour and become Apple fanboys. I'm among the living exceptions to that rule.

And whats so bad about having a Peter Pan Complex, ha, dude its fantastic that you can draw such a conclusion based purely on a few lines from a forum post.

And instead of insulting just the people on this post you managed to have a go at everyone on the site.

Afterdawn is a great mix of people of all ages and skill levels and even if some of the greener members sometimes make it evident that they are younger users or less experienced, we have to remember that we all were once.

Anyway no more feeding the hungry trolls, ive said my peace.
