Google executive confirmed still missing in Egypt
Google has confirmed that their Middle East and North Africa marketing head has tragically gone missing in Egypt.

The search giant has said that Wael Ghonim disappeared last Thursday in central Cairo and has not been seen since.

Says Google:

The safety of our employees is very important to Google, so if anyone has any information please call the following UK number: +44 20 7031 3008.

Google has now closed its office in Cairo to ensure the general safety of all employees based in the country.

Over 400 people have died since the uprising began last week.

Yesterday, Al Jazeera posted footage that allegedly showed Ghonim being dragged away to detention by plainclothes officers.

His identity has not been confirmed, however.

so how can they say "missing in Egypt" .. the whole point of somebody being missing is ... you don't know where they are.. if you KNOW somebody is in Egypt then they can't possibly be "missing".. because they are in Egypt... :)

You know they are in Action, then how can they be missing?

I think he is joking...unless you think that a UFO took him, you could say he was "Missing on Earth", and that wouldn't be much more vague than saying, "Missing in Egypt". If you did think that a UFO took him, he would be "Missing in the Universe".

All jokes aside, this is big if he was really taken by the government.

That confirms it...kidnapped by the government and they don't even deny it.

Too bad...everything seemed to be going so well in Egypt...I expected to wake up friday night and see images if the dictator hanging from a rope in front of the presidential palace...now it seems they will let him stay on until the "elections" when he will win by a landslide after rigging the polls and killing the other candidates. I hope he starts a genocide; the people of Egypt deserve it if they refuse to remove him by force.
