Grand Theft Auto V announcement imminent?
According to Grandtheft5, Rockstar Games may be set to announce Grand Theft Auto V in the very near future, three years after the blockbuster release of GTA IV.

Take-Two, the developer behind Rockstar, has purchased five domains names already, just like it did prior to GTA IV, to house its fake websites seen during gameplay.

The domains are:

CashForDeadDreams.com
SixFigureTemps.com
StopPayingYourMortgage.net
HammersteinFaust.com
LifeInvader

Bloggers have speculated that HammersteinFaust is a parody of bank Goldman Sachs, while LifeInvader will be a parody of Facebook.

Furthermore, astute journalists have found the resume of stunt actor Declan Mulvey, who is credited as working on Grand Theft Auto V, right after Red Dead Redemption and right before Max Payne 3.

There is likely no chance the game will be released anytime before the holidays, if this year at all, it is still interesting to see that an announcement may be on the horizon for one of the biggest franchises in gaming.

Neat...I can't wait to see what city they parody for this one; but "StopPayingYourMortgage.net" makes me think it might be miami.

How slim is the chance it'll make it to Windows again this time?

As for which city, I vote for something from the midwest -- Chicago, St. Louis or Kansas City. Only problem is, they like the cities to be "islands".

Boy I do like to dream, don't I.

Detroit might be a fun city too...half of the city is ruins and gangs in real life.

I wouldn't be shocked to see it on Windows; why not put it on windows? It isn't like the 360 or the PS3 will prevent piracy, and neither of those consoles have enough ram to do GTA5 justice anyway...even GTA4 had the draw distance cut down so short that the sniper rifle was useless in the PS3 and 360 versions. If GTA5 uses the same engine, it would have the same problem...if it uses a more advanced engine, they would have to cut the draw distance down so far that it would look like constant fog.

“I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, if I help him, he is going to help me."

I hope the same 16 year old sex crazed teens don't write the radio station commercials like they did in GTA 4.
