Each model outputs video content in Full HD 1080p and can upscale standard definition movies into "near high-definition resolution", and feature Dolby True HD audio, all of which we have come to expect in the market. Additional, USB connectivity allows playback of content in the MP3 format for audio, or in AVCHD or the MKV container (H.264 video) for video.
Both models support BD Live (Profile 2.0) to provide access to interactive features.

Both new Toshiba Blu-ray players will be available during Q4 2011. The press information doesn't indicate a price, but does stress affordability.
