Apple removes Match.com app for violating store rules

Apple has confirmed it has removed the Match.com app for violating store rules.

The developer added a direct link within the app to the dating service, a direct violation of Apple's policies for in-app subscriptions, says AI.



To quote the store's policy: "Apps can read or play approved content that is subscribed to or purchased outside of the app, as long as there is no button or external link in the app to purchase the approved content."

Match.com undoubtedly created in the app in such a manner as to get around Apple's 30 percent revenue cut.

To get their app re-introduced to the Store, Match.com will need to re-work the in-app subscription run through Apple's servers, therefore giving them back their revenue cut.

  Greed, it has that wonderful sweet taste of antifreeze... Ethylene glycol, the magical ingredient, is what draws them in. So sweet, it keeps them drinking... sips at first, but then heavier swallows then gulps so big you forget to pay attention to the savage pains of your intestines rotting & rupturing into your other organs inside.
  
  Only after your muscles seize and atrophy from both pain & massive acidic break down do you stop drinking; but it'll still take several minutes for death to set in (probably 5 to 10) because your circulatory system has also slowed down as well. Not to mention most oral medication usually takes a full 15-20 minutes to get completely absorbed.
  
  Greed, it's a poison just a sweet, just sometimes the choice of poison doesn't kill you as fast. Could be crack or heroin. Could also be politics or small dick-itis in an office setting. This case just so happens to be Corporate.
