iPhone 5 ready for production?

iPhone 5 ready for production?
9to5Mac is citing a Foxconn employee who has apparently spilled some of the beans on the upcoming iPhone 5.

Word is the iPhone 5 is almost ready for production, with sample devices already available.

For the actual device, the iPhone 5 will have a 4-inch display, will not have a tear-drop form factor like rumored, will have a different form factor than the iPhone 4S, and will include LTE support.

While none of this is confirmed, of course, the sources say the iPhone 5 is coming this summer, as Apple moves back to its normal June release schedule.

What I can't help but think about is the absolute terribly senseless material waste this promotes since Apple-loving putzes often want the "new one" every year.

Must dispose of these somehow........Apple should be banned from producing unnecessarily every year.

You could say the same for everyone in the smartphone market. We want the new everything. Actually it could be much worse. Apple could release several phones a year leaving customers with buyers remorse and a even more saturated market. I sure wouldn't want to be a bionic, razr, or transformer prime customer right about now.

I wish people would stop calling them iphones, apple doesn't make anything. It should be the fphone (Fox phone), or better yet the fuphone, based on apple's policies these days.

Wow, you sound like the typical Apple customer, and Apple loves one and all. People complain about evil corporations gouging customers, but no one complains about Apple, one of the most profitable companies today. I'm sure they will send you a personalized thank you note, while they are counting that 76 BILLION in cash they have.

IBOTS, making Apple stockholders rich. Apple stock is the only apple product I would buy!

Make that 97.7 Billion (projected to 100 Billion) & bragged about 'not gonna share' too.

I would shake the hand of a proud CrApple fan for their brand loyalty if it weren't for the fact that their brand simply doesn't stand behind them. And they damn well know it! They all know and have complained in the past, so denying it as they pass the dumpster for a new product isn't an excuse.

I know aficionados of other products could be said to do the same, but the facts are, we change brands when we are let down. We're not like dogs that go back to the pile of barf that made us hurl in the first place.
