AT&T to begin offering Dr. Dre 'Beatbox'
Starting next week, AT&T will begin offering products by the Beats by Dr. Dre brand.

The carrier has announced it will soon be exclusively offering a version of the "Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox" in stores and online for $400.

As the company describes it, the Beatbox is a wireless audio system that also comes with a built-in dock connector for smartphones. The speaker system has Bluetooth connectivity, a remote control, handles and runs on six D-batteries.

On top of the Beatbox, the carrier will also sell wireless HD stereo Bluetooth headphones, Beats Solo HD Headphones, and UR Beats In-ear Headphones, says Cnet.

And if you listen to more that twelve songs in a week, then for the rest of the month the system will throttle the tempo of your music to 36 beats per minute.

Just what we need walking around town...

"But the bigger point here is that UMG has effectively admitted this takedown was never about copyright. They demanded YouTube censor Megaupload and justify that by saying they have a contract which allows it so its fine. Its painfully clear what they would do with a law like SOPA that gives them much more power"

So much so that we'll all have to listen to the f*king thing, distortion & all as they attempt to entertain our asses as they boogie down the block after a hard day jammin'.

No one ever tells the consumer that these damn things were never designed as PA rigs, but damned if we don't see/hear people trying to use them as such. Sometimes it makes me glad I'm going deaf...
