Sony VP: We messed up with PlayStation Move
Sony Computer Entertainment UK's new managing director Fergal Gara has admitted this week that the company did not use PlayStation Move to its fullest potential.

Since its launch in 2010, the company has shipped 10.5 million Move controllers and it is unclear how many of those have been sold. Microsoft's popular rival, the Kinect system, has sold over 10 million and continues to be updated and expanded.

Gara says: "[Sony] could have done a better job on the titles," and adds that maybe the system should be used for the casual market instead.

There are very little games that scream "Move!" with the exception of the new GoldenEye 007 title, and the controllers are not cheap.

Microsoft is expected to launch its game-changing Kinect 2 with the unveiling of the Xbox Next (720) either this year or next.

Yea, and that's NOT the only thing you have messed up! Vita, PSP, online for PS3 accounts, need I go on? Sheesh!!

    AH I would not worry.

All this stuff isn't used for long and people will get fed up with it after a while even the kids.

There's a general overestimation by the industry of how many people are into 'exotic' features like motion controllers and 3-D. Most consumers just don't care (or don't think the extra cost is worth it).

You are so misinformed it's not even worth wasting my time to point it all out...plus I don't feel like getting into an "argument" with someone who won't listen to a rational reply supported with complete proof.

Whats up Oner. I just started checking back into this sight recently. Don’t seem to see you much. I see the site is still full of people only wanting to make negative comments on every article.
I do agree with the article. While the Move is a quality device, there aren’t nearly enough good games for it.

looking forward to sorcery to me Move is a great extra to the dualshock never wanted it to take over my gaming. Kinect has gone the other route it is all MS seem to care about.
why do the plonkers always come out on this site on Sony stories.
