Twitter shows off new logo

Twitter shows off new logo
Microblogging service Twitter has updated its logo, leaving a minimalist design.

The new logo (pictured), is of the famous blue bird, without anything else.

Adds creative director Doug Bowman: "Twitter is the bird, the bird is Twitter."

The logo has removed any type, the trademark T, and the wide-eyed bird of previous logos.

Bowman notes that the logo was created from three overlapping circles, a concept that shows how a person can connect their networks, interests and ideas.

"Whether soaring high above the earth to take in a broad view, or flocking with other birds to achieve a common purpose, the bird in flight is the ultimate representation of freedom, hope, and limitless possibility," the blog concluded.

Hey, can I see that paper for a second?
Huh, that's odd... I thought that would be big news...
(Person puzzled) What would be big news?
Well there seems to be a absence of a certain ornithological piece... A headline regarding mass awareness of a certain avian verity...
(Still confused) What are you talking about?
Oh have you not heard?!?! It was my understanding that every one had heard.
    (Still puzzled) Heard what?!?!
Oh well a bird, bird, bird, - bird, birds the word, a well a bird, bird, bird, - bird, birds the word,
Don't you know about the bird?!?! Well Twitters gonna tell you about the bird!!!

    To fitting

Logo kind of still looks the same though to me, less the word Twitter. Still cool though.

Logo looks like the approximation of a bird taking a dump (maybe on Twitter users???).

No, it is. Bird about to fly into a pane of glass, breaking its neck in the process.
