Galaxy Nexus now $50 with contract at Verizon
Google and Verizon have dropped the price of the flagship Galaxy Nexus for the carrier.

With two-year contract, the Nexus will now cost just $50, down from its original price of $200 and more recently, $149.99 online.

The carrier has added a new "Promo" discount when purchasing online, in a clear effort to clear out remaining inventory for the plethora of new devices headed to shelves soon.

Among the new devices are the Motorola RAZR HD, Nokia Lumia 920, HTC 8X and the Samsung Galaxy Note II, all of which should be hot sellers over the holidays.

The Nexus line is popular due to its "vanilla" version of Android straight from Google and not marred by any third-party overlay such as HTC Sense or MotoBlur.

With the Nexus are you able to avoid the horrid Verizon bloatware?

And it takes significantly longer for verizon to update the nexus.

How about escaping their full price of their phones even if you have a contract with them and our willing upgrade to a better phone. One of the most retarded idea that Verizon has come up with lately. I mean, it's not like they are losing money out of their asses, share the wealth, and give back to your consumer what you have taken away from them dammit!..
