Here are the rumored LG Optimus Nexus specs
MoDaCo has revealed some details of the supposed LG Optimus Nexus (name up for debate), which is now expected to be unveiled later this month.

Supposedly, the phone will be based on the Optimus G but with a different "look."

The device will feature a 1280 x 768 "True-HD" IPS screen, a powerful quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor and 2GB RAM. The screen will be around 4.7-inches (like the G) and the device will have 16GB internal storage with no microSD slot and a non-removable battery, two features that will do nothing but turn consumers off.

It appears the big selling point, besides vanilla Jelly Bean and the quickest access to new operating system updates will be wireless charging right out of the box.

If accurate, the device is expected to be available in mid-November. Additionally, the sources say LG may not be the only OEM to release a Nexus phone, which would be very interesting although we are not sure why Google would sign off on such a move.

And I still use my EOL 3vo.

The reason people should be public with criticism is that, if we simply let developers slide with shaky decisions such as these, they will keep making them, that simple.

I understand that you have to sell your products and you want to sell new ones as they come out, but come on LG, let's not jump the Apple bandwagon please! That was they're first mistake. I have the Droid Maxx and when the battery is depleted, it's gone. Now, if only Verizon would only not cry poor mouth by taking away our subsidized upgraded phones, then I wouldn't see this as quite a problem. Damn if you do, damned if you don't...

Now, if only Verizon would only not cry poor mouth by taking away our subsidized upgraded phones, then I wouldn't see this as quite a problem. Damn if you do, damned if you don't... I know how everybody feels here about the battery and expandable memory. The memory for me is a must have. I have 40 gigs of memory using a 32 gig microsd and 8 gigs internal. Lots of music, pictures, videos. I also use my phone as my storage device replacing an USB drive. The main reason behind having replaceble batteries is the horrible battery life we have become accustom to have. I wouldnot rant too much on the battery life until we know how big the battery will be in the LG phone. If it is a huge battery, then there is really no reason to have to carry around extra batteries.

@ blueboy....Man the battery issue with your phone isnot an issue. You have a Razor Maxx that the entire world is envious of when talking about battery life. I carry two spare batteries at all times. My phone is only rated at 6.5hrs talk time so you have more than three of my batteries without having to swap out. If the LG doesnot have a huge battery like the Maxx phones from Motorola they are making a huge mistake.

The main reason I care about the sealed battery is more about device life, not the duration of an individual charge; I've never swapped a battery, as I've always had an outlet nearby to charge my phone.

Thing is, I do not get the snazzy new phone, every time one is released; my (officially) EOL 3vo still works damn well, frankly, and I see no reason for a replacement. But the battery WILL eventually lose charge capacity, and sooner rather than later (I've already noticed signs); LiON batteries only have so many charge/discharge cycles. When I end up needing a new battery, it'll cost me maybe $20 to replace it, vs. ~$100 to send in a sealed unit, which would also deny me the use of my phone for several days. Screw that!

Furthermore, anyone who thinks it's a good idea to make it impossible to perform a battery-pull hard reset on an Android device, has never used *any* version of Android. Anyone care to argue that point..? lol
