The new MacBook Pro is just 0.75 inches thick and weighs just 3.57lbs, making it 20 percent thinner and just under 1lb lighter. While there's no way I'd waste the extra cash (50% or more premium) on one of these devices, I must say, DAMN they're pretty! The iMac is just beautifully designed.

Quote:The iMac is just beautifully designed. Quite. If there is one thing that Apple do better (in their computing line), it is design and build quality.

Very nice. But not worth 50% more than an equivalent VAIO.

I actually meant to add my comment under the iMac article immediately above, but it works just fine here, as well - lol.

"Pretty" ain't worth the cash they want for it, folks, and the closed Mac hardware ecosystem is another turnoff.

Again with the greed! one day you're gonna fall Apple and I'll be there laughing my head off and pointing, yes, pointing very hard at your failure. I appreciate that it may take a while before that happens because people are stupid enough to buy your products, but as it is and always will be, EVERYTHING COMES TO AN END.
