Humble THQ Bundle offering 6 classic games for $1 donation

For those that have never tried them, Humble Bundle is a fantastic deal made available for games of different platforms, with the price being whatever you want to donate.

The company gives most of the proceeds to charity and they have had multiple successful Android deals.

Today's latest Humble THQ Bundle offers 6 classic PC games, along with the potential for a seventh if you donate above what the average consumer is donating.

The games are Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction Armageddon, Company of Heroes and their stand alone expansions Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. If you beat the average ($5.30 as of writing), you will also get Saints Row: The Third.

Additionally, you get the soundtracks (in MP3 or FLAC) for Saints Row The Third, Darksiders, Red Faction Armageddon and Company of Heroes.

You will need Steam and Windows to redeem the deal, and you must donate above $1. You can select how to distribute your donation, between THQ, Humble Bundle and charity. As of writing, there have been 240,000 bundles sold.

Wow, saint's row the 3rd alone is worth more than $15 right? these are always awesome. Great idea whoever came up with this, and nice to donate to charity/developers.

I decided this go around to donate it all to THQ and Humble for hosting these. I'm sure a lot of people give exclusively to charity anyways.

I played the original Company Of Heroes when it was first out and thought it was a decent enough game.

I like the idea though, hadn't heard of it before now!

I made my pledge than gave it away as a christmas gift as I can't see me getting into these games now with so many others on my must play palette.

I got the bundle for $5. Not bad even though I didn't want any of the CoH games I did want saints row and red faction. Easily worth the dosh

So I not sure if it's been reported here, but THQ needs to find a way to satisfy a $50 million defaulted loan from Well Fargo to keep in business. So far their humble tactic is working out to be $1.5 a day at it's current pace to = out to a total of $21 mil if they keep getting continual sales. It's highly unlikely it'll keep going, but here's to hoping, cause if they do make $20 + mill, that will guarantee the company stays alive.
