The event will showcase "what is next" for the struggling smartphone company.
Taking place in New York, the event will be a couple of days before the Mobile World Congress, a move that shows the company would prefer to go solo this year rather than be part of the crowd.
HTC is expected to unveil (officially) the M7, a new flagship.
The device will have a quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064, a 4.7-inch 1920x1080 display with 468 ppi, 32GB of internal storage (no microSD slot), LTE and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
