Apple's Tim Cook didn't want Samsung lawsuits, but Steve Jobs did

Apple's Tim Cook didn't want Samsung lawsuits, but Steve Jobs did
Cook didn't want to start legal fight with Samsung.

Apple CEO Tim Cook did not have an appetite for a legal fight with Samsung after the South Korean firm released its first Galaxy-branded smartphones. He felt that Samsung was a critical supplier of components for Apple's products, and that a legal dispute would be damaging.

The late Steve Jobs saw it differently, however. He felt that Samsung was using its position as a main supplier to Apple as an advantage, making its products very similar in design to Apple's and betting that Apple wouldn't resort to litigation.

After Samsung's release of the Galaxy Tab in 2011, Steve Jobs accused Samsung of outright stealing from Apple, as he had also deemed Google's Android OS a "stolen product."

After Apple filed a lawsuit in 2011, a patent war emerged between the two companies, spilling into Europe, Australia and to Asia.

That's because Steve Jobs was an egotistical prick and while he did do some good things for technology he was threatened by every competitor mainly because he knew his products were not as great as the iSheep make them out to be. So if a competitor surpassed them they would not be able to compete so Steve Job's answer was to sue them and make it look like Apple was the victim.

It's worthwhile remembering that screaming fit Jobs had at Gates about Windows... "But Steve", Bill said, "it's like I went in to steal my neighbour's TV and found you had stolen it already!".

I wish I'd been a fly on the wall haha.

Its a lot easier being righteous than right.

The best thing to happen to Apple (and the rest of the world) was when Jobs died.

Someone told me once that theres a right and wrong, and that punishment would come to those
who dare to cross the line.
But it must not be true for jerk-offs like you.
Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole.
