Best Buy now offering $100 discount on all Windows 8 touchscreen PCs

Best Buy has confirmed that all Windows 8 touchscreen computers will have a discount, at least for the next two weeks.

Beginning tomorrow, and ending March 9th, the PCs will be priced with a $100 discount.



Notably, it appears that Best Buy will be part of the subsidizing, eating part of the cost of the discount along with Intel, Microsoft and the PC OEMs.

Not included in the discount? The Surface or other Windows tablets.

  The problems were the price tags and Windows 8.
  
  Solving the price tag doesn't make it better. Before it was unaffordable crap. Now it is affordable crap.

  bw501, watch your comments as they can be crap too. i've worked on win8 & i don't like it. i use xp on 1 computer because a data recovery program i use won't work in windows 7 & i have a win7 computer but no apples nor cell phones.
