Let AfterDawn help you backup your data on World Backup Day
Today is World Backup Day, a tradition that started on Reddit in 2011 but has caught on with the rest of the world since.

There are plenty of great options to backup your data, including the built in options for Windows and OS X if you own an external hard drive.

Check this guide if you are a Windows user: Backup and Restore

Try this guide if you are a Mac user: Time Machine

If you prefer to have a little more power over your backups, check our plethora of backup tools here at Afterdawn: Software section

Of course, you are willing to have your files in the cloud, Box is a great alternative, with 5GB free space.

    Cheers Andre.

Have to admit I don't like the Backup feature of Doze much... slow, terrible compression and you can't make more than one copy per location. I've noticed a serious bug where it actually slows down win7 bootup significantly if you have separate system and data drives like you might if you had a small SSD for that and you save that system's image to the data drive. Who the hell knows why but it's so.

I use the free version of Macrium Reflect found here:
    http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx

(Create a windoze version of the recovery disk as it can handle raid arrays.)

    Regards.
