Motorola Droid 5 to include full QWERTY keyboard

While physical keyboards have almost disappeared, it seems at least one company will give you the option.

According to images posted to Weibo, Motorola's eventual Droid 5 smartphone will include a full QWERTY keyboard, just like its predecessors.

The new device will have the same slide-out landscape keyboard, a 4.5-inch display, wireless charging, NFC, water and dust resistance. Additionally, the device will be much thinner than previous models.

In the photo, the Droid is running Android 4.0.3, a very old version of the operating system, so it is unclear how old the photos are, or if the photos show an old prototype.

im sorry but motorola phones are terrible...why anyone wouldnt just buy a nexus..no samsung, htc or motorola phone will ever compare to the speed of a pure google nexus device.

Droid phones just wind up in CERTAIN people's hands, Motorola crap phones in general I say.

Droid 5 is a total debacle.

I have to agree that motorola phones are garbage. I had the atrix 4g. Piece of crap only lasted me a year and then with the update from motorola my wifi and bluetooth stopped working.

The only reason I have an interest in this phone is because of the keyboard. right now I'm using an HP Pre 3 and really love the keyboard.
