TechCrunch put the device to the test and was able to successfully get his cat's paw print to lock and unlock the new smartphone using the Touch ID sensor.
Cats have similar (and unique) identifying prints like humans, so the site says no other cats were able to unlock his phone.
5S users have up to five Touch ID profiles, allowing people that use your phone most frequently to save their prints, as well.
