Leaked: Here are the Google Nexus 5 specs
Thanks to a leaked log from the upcoming LG D820 (The Google Nexus 5), we now have most of the specs for the upcoming Android flagship.

The phone will feature a 4.97-inch, 1080p display with a massive 442ppi, will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. The device will run on Android 4.4 KitKat and include 16GB internal storage for its base model.



For the cameras, the device will use an 8MP sensor on the back and a 1.2MP front-facing camera.

Additionally, the Nexus 5 will feature dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS connectivity.

Wireless charging capabilities are built-in, and the phone has a 2300mAh battery.

The device is expected to launch at the end of October.

    not really. Still no SD card, still no removable battery. Only 2gb when 3gb ram phones are starting to emerge. Standard 16gb internal. 8MP camera Very average phones with a nice display. Far from being in the elite category. But that's why they sold well because they are affordable with last years specs. Also need to know more on LTE on the phone.

    if phones would be "better" based on the "specs" only, iphone would never succeed (don't tell me iphone is not a success). even generic brands would do very well just by offering good specs at low prices. but the fact is that the performance of a device like phone is dependent on hardware, OS, software, and eco-system. nexus devices perform very well when compared to OEM devices since the stock android is faster than the modified android with bloatware. and of course, price factor cannot be denied.

    I like Nexus because of the developer love, but come on, I want a removable battery and SD slot. I may have to find another phone to replace my G-Nex.

    i agree, nexus devices have these two problems that bother me as well.
