Xbox One consoles ship early, Microsoft bans console of Twitter user

Xbox One consoles ship early, Microsoft bans console of Twitter user
Target has reportedly shipped standard edition Xbox One consoles to customers who ordered recently.

One showed up on eBay with a hefty price tag of $1,000 but was promptly removed from the auction site. An unboxing video from Twitter user @Moonlightswami was also removed from YouTube on copyright grounds after a complaint from Microsoft Corporation.

After unboxing his Xbox One, @Moonlightswami successfully downloaded the day one update which reportedly adds up to around 500MB in size.

He then went on to start spilling details on the size of Xbox One game downloads and dumping images of the Dashboard.

Apparently, Microsoft wasn't best pleased and banned his console already, which has kicked off something of a furore on Twitter.

Check out his twitter feed for loads of pics and information: @Moonlightswami (warning, its very active)

    Ridiculous move from Microsoft.
What did you expect him to do?
Take it out on Target for shipping the consoles early.

My opinion of Microsoft has just dropped a little lower. Someone needs to tell their "corporate types" to lighten up.

From his Twitter it seems that the ban has been reversed and he has been invited to the launch event.

I have to wonder if this will come back to haunt MS.

    In other matters:

"Apparently, Microsoft wasn't pleased and banned his console already, which has kicked off something of a furor on Twitter."

Come on, people. Is your spell-checker turned off?
