Microsoft announces Xbox Elite wireless controller for hardcore gamers
Microsoft has announced a new wireless controller for the Xbox One and Windows 10 aimed at the hardcore gamer.

The new Elite wireless controller costs $150 and the controller has swappable components meaning you can switch the D-pad for a joystick, and more.

Among the new features are four interchangeable paddles on the back side, Hair Trigger Locks for precise control in shooters and a textured rolling pad. The four paddles are customizable allowing you to remap as you choose

Microsoft will also release a new app to help gamers remap their controllers.

In other words being a hardcore gamer does not usually go alongside with makes a lot of money. I game a lot and consider myself a hardcore gamer but I have a budget and $150 for a controller does not fit into that budget

150! Pffft! This won't sell a whole Helluva lot.

Guarantee that 9 months to a year down the road, this will be 79.99

    What a rip!

I bet there isn't even $50 dollars worth of components in this thing.

Hair trigger locks?! So is that not like a cheat then for games? Or I misunderstanding that part?

Way too much money. I don't really feel like there is much improvement that needs to be done with the controller. Except that the R1 & L1 buttons should be moved. Touching them with my finger tips is way too awkward.

the way its worded does sound a bit rapidfire-ish, but i doubt it.
