DigiCipher 2
DigiCipher 2 is a signal compression and encryption standard used with satellite television broadcasts developed in 1997 by General Instrument. DigiCipher 2, or DCII, is not compataible with the now widely accepted Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) standard. DCII had wide use amount first-generation digital cable networks in North America.
