UDF Bridge, sometimes called UDF/ISO, is a DVD-ROM format used to make DVD-ROM media compatible with Windows 95 computers. Until Windows 98 was released, DVD's UDF 1.02 file system wasn't supported at the operating system level in Windows. UDF Bridge adds a redundant ISO 9660 file system, as used for CD-ROM drives, allowing Windows 95 to read DVD-ROM media.
DVD-Video and DVD-Audio use UDF 2.0 exclusively, with no redundant ISO 9660 file system.
