iTunes 9 to bring Blu-ray support, iPhone App management?
According to sources speaking to BoyGeniusReport, the upcoming iTunes 9.0 software update will include Blu-ray support and iPhone App management, along with social networking integration.

Blu-ray support would be a welcome addition, and the App management would allow users to connect their iPhone or iPod Touch and visually manage the apps.

Social networking integration would allow easy access to Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm.

For now, this is rumor and Apple has not confirmed or denied any of the details or a release date for iTunes 9.

    why? what about ur privacy?

the ISP's have already killed any chance of blu films being streamed with their FUP's, excessive charges n throttling but this story is is based on only speculation and rumours.

I watched the App Management video. While the new features are good, the iPhone App Launcher remains the WORST app launcher I have ever used on any device.

Why does Apple do some stuff so well, but does basic stuff so horribly?

Ad why do they brag so much when they fix a basic, stupid neglect, like cut and paste?

Apple prices themselves on being different. Everyone else had cut-n-paste, so they did not (untill overwhelming demand). Everyone else has a good launcer, so apple does not. Everyone else gives you choices, so apple does not. Sometimes "the other way" is just as good or better, usualy it is worse.

To me this is just nonsense. It is something that is going overboard. I can handle blu-ray support and all that but come on why do we need to make things like Facebook and Myspace even more easier to acess. Pointless the way i see it.

This rumor has been proven false, at least by CDNet.
