Intel to show off 10 tablets
Intel has confirmed today that it will introduce over 10 new tablet running its own chips, trying to steal some market share from mobile architecture giant ARM Holdings.

The company will show off the designs at the Computex computer trade show which starts on May 31st.

Asus and other companies are expected to unveil tablets at the event, as well.

Overall, 35 Intel chip-based tablets are expected to ship throughout the year.

Intel is launching their "Oak Trail" chips soon, boasting low power consumption.

10 different tablets? Is that really necessary? That's just diciulous to me.

It is crazy, but the more crap that floods the market, the better the consumer wins with lower prices. Right now tablets are a rip off, maybe in 6 to 12 months we will have killer laptop spec tablets for well under $500!!! Right now anything over $500 is a rip off, so I just sit patiently waiting for a killer android tablet and I have not seen one yet.

Dont forget it will be 35 tablets by years end! If they can compete with ARM great, and if not, to bad. Either way it should help the consumer as stated above.
