Dave Chappelle coming back with a new show via Hulu or Netflix?
Sources speaking to The Daily say that funnyman Dave Chappelle may be ready to come back with a new show, but it won't be through traditional cable or broadcast but instead via Hulu, Netflix, or another on-demand streaming platform.

Chappelle walked away from his hit show Chappelle's Show in 2006, breaking a contract that would have paid him $50 million over 2 years.

The actor then took refuge in Africa for months, breaking away from the fame the show had brought him.

When asked later why he left such a massive contract, Chappelle said that Comedy Central put too much pressure on him for deadlines, etc, and it stymied his creativity.

With a new deal on a streaming platform, the actor would likely get to be "his own boss" again.

I have both seasons on DVD.
Reminds me a lot of Richard Pryor. Not the comedy portion.. Just in your face truth with humor.

Just about everybody knows about the Rick James skit. It was funny but Charlie Murphy is the one who expressed it perfectly.

The DVD's are uncut and uncensored.. It is much more funny without hacking out the real deal.

He might not be a great businessman, but he is certainly better than most comedians; just getting a 30 minute TV special puts someone ahead of 99% of comedians...and this guy had a show for two years.

I would watch his streaming show...if it were free.

I really don't care for British humor. Maybe it's me.. I just don't get it. Even Monty Python is boring to me.

Whoa don't dog Benny!!! He was a master! Love Chappelle too though. My fav skit was when he was the blind, black, white supremest (sp?). I about crapped my pants when he said he dumped his wife after he found out he was black for being a niXXer lover!!!

    Just my $0.02,

    Lost episodes is my fav.

    "Kachong" moments

"The victim also said that at one point during the altercation that method man put a hanger on the stove and left it for like 40 minutes, and then he stuck it in his @#$ real slow...tssssssssssst"

The payback skit ~ "Why'd I do it? Because I'm petty...Hold up, hold up look at this squirrel skin coat, Ooooooh...How many squirrels must die to make you look fly?! Ooooohhhh...."

And so many more! I'll definitely be on the lookout for his show when/if it happens.

Let's not get all hot and bothered just because someone else has a different opinion. Even if he is wrong.

I wish Netflix pick him up. I can't really stand Hulu.

If I always hear voices surrounding me, does it mean I'm crazy or that I hear in Dolby 5.1?

Somebody help me. There was a skit with a milkman and everybody eating breakfast at the table. It was so funny, I'm still laughing.

Purchase the DVD uncut and uncensored. Without commercials each episode is 20 minutes long.

    Love

Paul Mooney, who wrote a lot of Richard Pryor's material.
