VIDEO: Previewing the Windows Store
Microsoft details Windows Store for developers.

Microsoft has given details about the Windows Store, the primary source of Metro-style apps for the Windows 8 operating system. In the video below, Microsoft's Antoine Leblond explains the revenue sharing and the reach of the Windows Store when it launches.



Microsoft confirmed that the beta of the Windows 8 operating system will be released in February 2012. Research firm IDC expects that Windows 8 will be pre-installed to new PCs as early as August of next year.

    So, is it just me or are these new tiles with the primary colors ugly as hell?

    I mean, I get it. I understand this idea for a new UI and it has to be touch friendly and all, but on the MS phone and on Windows 8 and here in the store they show the UGLIEST screens possible!


    Unfortunately for them, all Blu-ray protections have been broken and BD rips can be found around the Internet, usually before the retail even hits shelves.

    They are playing to their audience. Babies and the very young prefer primary colors since they are simple to comprehend.
