Man who robbed Steve Jobs' house is caught
The man who unintentionally robbed the late Steve Jobs' home has been arrested and confessed to the crime.

Kariem McFarlin broke into the home on July 17th, stealing $60,000 worth of Mac computers and other items, including a letter written to Jobs.

After McFarlin plugged in the computers and connected to the Internet, the devices communicated with Apple servers in order to download updates. From there, Apple security alerted Palo Alto police who easily traced the computers.

McFarlin was arrested and then confessed to the crime. He led authorities to a storage locker in which Jobs' wallet, credit cards, and other equipment was found.

Until reading the letter, the thief claims he had no idea who's house he had robbed.

McFarlin robbed the house, which was surrounded by a construction barrier and temporarily vacant, because he was in "dire straits." The criminal also said he wants to send a letter of apology to Jobs' family.

How the F*K do you "unintentionally" steal from a mans house!?! That's like accidentally sleeping with a friends wife!

Sorry bro, was just walking through your bed room there because all the other bathrooms were being used & on the way I 'accidentally' tripped & stuck my d*k in your wife. Needless to say we were both surprised & I didn't want to be all rude & just 'pull out' - so I figured, kinda gentlemanly fix the situation with a flurry there... Hope you don't mind?

Not to mention this is a PROFESSIONAL thief... he had the storage locker & all the goods stashed away. He's just begging to not get pattered to a slow death by a bunch of soft handed Apple fanatics.

i think the news has been posted by some apple fanatic indeed to show macs are so like-able that they may be stolen no matter who the owner is.

Why show a pair of white hands handcuffed? Why not black hands? Is it because if black hands were used some people would cry racism? In that case, it's racist to show white hands.

Poorly written and probably a MAC user as it probably should read that he didn't intend to rob Jobs not that he didn't intend to rob! AY gets a -1 for that snafu...

So if he got $60K in MAC gear that would equate to less than $10K in good PC gear.

Which would equate to about $2500 at a pawn broker if he were stupid enough to go to one of those places.

Man... That's an awful lot of work for state funded sodomy.

It's written correctly. Sometimes you have to read PAST the first three words of something to understand. Shocking, I know.

If it was written correctly it wouldn't be miss leading! Like it is. Sorry don't buy the excuse.
