Ice Cream Sandwich breaks above 20 percent Android share
Google has updated their Android distribution charts and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich continues its ascent, breaking above the significant 20 percent barrier.

In fact, 20.9 percent of Android devices now have Android 4.0-4.04, up from 16 percent last month.

The latest, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, clocked in at 1.2 percent, which makes sense given there are only a handful of devices with an official update and a few smooth working ROMs out there.

Getting older by the second, Android 2.3 Gingerbread fell to 57.5 percent share, down 3 percentage points from last month.

Still shockingly, 18 percent of devices are running Android 1.5 through 2.2 Froyo.

Watch the Gingerbread numbers fall like a brick by the end of the year, as all those people who got in early with the EVO4g and other early superphones finally upgrade to the S III and the Note II and other new offerings.
Yes, the Evo4G is still on Gingerbread... Ugh!!!

Oh, Im sorry... Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?
